Holly Moskow, LMSW

Staff Social Worker

Holly Moskow is a licensed master social worker at CBC where she conducts individual, family and group psychotherapy with children, adolescents and adults. Holly’s collaborative approach is informed by intensive training in both Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Prior to joining CBC, Holly worked as a clinical social worker at Family Services of Westchester’s (FSW) White Plains mental health clinic where she provided outpatient treatment for adolescents and adults and facilitated a DBT-A skills group for adolescents and caregivers. At FSW, she trained in Trauma Systems Therapy and provided staff development training in mindfulness. Prior to her work at FSW, Holly provided outpatient treatment to adolescents and adults in a private practice setting at the Center for Wise Mind Living in Manhattan.

Holly earned her master’s degree in clinical social work from Fordham University.

She completed a clinical internship at Green Chimney’s residential treatment center where she worked with adolescents and their parents while collaborating with the psychiatric, school, and residential treatment team. Holly co-facilitated sibling groups and DBT-A groups for adolescents. While at Green Chimneys, Holly completed the DBT-A Foundational Training with CBC and was certified in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention. She also participated in Family Systems training provided by the Ackerman Institute and training in Animal Assisted Therapy for child sensory & self-regulation.

Holly completed her first-year social work internship at the Mental Health Association of Westchester’s Sterling Community Center where she worked with adults diagnosed with a range of severe mental health conditions and facilitated groups designed to enhance client well-being along SAMHSA’s eight dimensions of wellness. She also completed training in motivational interviewing and positive psychology during this time.

Prior to becoming a social worker, Holly worked in consumer marketing at Fortune 500 companies and in nonprofit management focusing on understanding what motivates people to make consumer choices and act for the betterment of the environment. Holly holds a master of business administration degree from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
