CBC is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Cognitive and Behavioral Consultants is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #0219. New York State Education Department’s State Board for Psychology as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed psychologists, #PSY-0063.
Professionals who attend our training programs are eligible to receive continuing education credits. The allocation of credits is dependent on the number of hours spent in training. There is no fractional credit provision. Our training programs range from half-day to multi-day sessions.
As a reminder, CE eligibility must meet the following criteria:
- Participants must sign in and out of the training
- Participants may not miss more than 15 minutes of the training
- Participants must complete the evaluation at the end of the day
